Thanks to your generosity we raised £234.50. Venus Glow was a fun night for a great cause, with over 750 women taking part. We already have people signing up for the Dawley Team next year! Dawleys new Fulfilment Centre went live in August 2015 and it's been working flat out since then handling the launch of Breast Cancer Care's new Autumn Catalogue. Over 19,000 have been picked packed and despatched all of which have been seamlessly handled in the new Centre by our dedicated Fulfilment and Warehouse Team.
Building works are complete and the new rooms have been painted and decorated. We're now ready for the next stages which will comprise of kitting out the Packing Room with work benches and installing racking in the Pick Room.
The new fulfilment is really beginning to take shape. The air conditioning and heating has been installed, the doors are being hung and tomorrow the decorators are in.
The new pick/pack area is swarming with builders putting up walls, making rooms, doorways and installing framework for the ceiling. Heating engineers in today and electrician tomorrow....watch this space for more updates.
Work is cracking on apace at the new Fulfilment Centre. The new pallet racking is being installed and the new articulated forklift is due to be delivered any day. We can then co-ordinate the re-housing of the stock in it's new locations ready for the next stage of the development.
